Dalhousie’s Information Without Borders Conference Committee is now accepting submissions for presenters for the 2024 Conference, taking place Monday, March 25th, 2024.
The Information Without Borders (IWB) Conference is a student-run initiative led by individuals in the Master of Information program at the School of Information Management at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This all-day event in the second semester provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion on a central topic affecting all professions represented in Dalhousie’s Faculty of Management. The conference also provides the opportunity to network with peers and industry professionals, and for students to experience presenting in a conference environment for potentially the first time.
For the 2024 Information Without Borders Conference, our theme will be the Future of Information. The information landscape is constantly changing, and students in information today are the information professionals of tomorrow. By coming together to discuss technological and societal changes, and how we access and experience these rapid developments, conference participants can share their knowledge while gaining insight from others.
Students are strongly encouraged to submit poster presentations.
Those interested can fill out the form below or contact Naomi Richards (nm519218@dal.ca) or the Information Without Borders Conference Committee (iwb@dal.ca) if you have any questions.
