As writer and director of the project ARC (Action, Responsibility, Choice) theatre tour, Janice has been working to bring information about human rights and responsibilities to Nova Scotia schools since March, 2012. Through her work with project ARC, she and her cast have received numerous honours, including a Nova Scotia Human Rights Award. With over 25 years working in information services and children’s programming with Halifax Public Libraries, in addition to home-educating her four children, Janice’s heart for sharing important material in meaningful, accessible ways has led her to writing more than 10 plays for youth.
