As you may have noticed from the date, IWB 2014 has ended. We would like to say a huge thank you to all our sponsors, speakers, and attendees, without whom the conference could not have succeeded. For information on next year's conference, check back here this coming fall.

The Information Without Borders Conference is a student-led initiative by the School of Information Management at Dalhousie University. This one-day event provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion on a central topic affecting all professions represented at Dalhousie's Faculty of Management.

IWB was designed to: facilitate networking and communication among students, faculty, and professionals; provide a forum for information pertaining to this year's conference topic; promote interaction among schools in the Faculty of Management and other Dalhousie departments; allow students to develop skills; and encourage students to present their current research.

 

Paper Competition Deadline Extension

The deadline for students to submit papers for presentation at IWB 2014 has been extended to January 10, 2014. There was an error on the website previously that stated the extension was to January 30, 2014. This is the date for the poster competition, not the paper competition. Speakers and Paper Competition Updates

Announcing the addition of pictures and bios of two speakers for the IWB 2014 conference: Ron Deibert, and Creighton Barrett.

New IWB Web Page Launch

This is our new web page. While there have been few changes to the overall structure and look of the site, there are a number of forthcoming content updates, including: keynote speakers, registration dates, and many more.
